When Health Inspectors Give You Lemons, Make Lemonade (Entrepreneurship Edition)

The story about the health inspector who shut down a little girl’s lemonade stand has been making its way around the blogosphere. Health inspectors better get May 1, 2011, on their calendar. That’s Lemonade Day, the brainchild of Michael Holthouse, a successful entrepreneur I met several months ago who is trying to inspire kids to start businesses by sponsoring a single day every year when kids set up lemonade stands. Here’s Holthouse describing how it works:

The program is in place in 13 cities around the country (it needs to get to Portland soon).
